14-19 reform

These modules provide you with an overview of 14-19 reform and the timescale for implementation leading to the 2013 entitlement, when all young people will be required to continue in education or training until the age of 17 and will be entitled to choose to study the Diploma.

The modules explore 14-19 learning routes, the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and revisions planned or made to general qualifications and apprenticeships.

You will also have the opportunity to discuss the impact that the reforms may have on your institution to help your preparations with curriculum planning, collaborative working and employer engagement.
